Marlog Car Handling imports from and exports to America, Asia, Canada or special countries of your choice. The imported cars, boats or motorbikes arrive the both by ship and by plane, and are delivered to them on location in containers. That’s where QCNEXXT comes in: the quality has to be checked!

As soon as the back office knows when a container arrives, they can enter it in the quality management system (web portal) as an inspection. Here, they can already enter all kinds of information about the container and its contents:

who ships the container
what date and time he arrives
the make and type of the vehicle
the year of construction of the vehicle in the container
who the controller is

And many more items of your choice!

Checking damage with the iPad app

A template is attached to the inspection. These are fixed templates in which incoming vehicles will be inspected. For example, Marlog Car Handling has separate templates for cars, boats and motorbikes. According to a fixed order, the quality inspectors can inspect the vehicles in this way.

As soon as the container is unloaded, the inspectors inspect the car, boat or motorbike. In the iPad app, the inspection and corresponding template are ready. Where is damage, and what is the damage? They don’t need to type anything: thanks to our very latest module, they only need to click the letter linked to the legend (familiar to them). Each letter represents a defect on the car. For each defect, they can indicate on a template where it is located.

Once the inspection is complete, the back office can process this into a report. They can hand this report over to the customer, or to an insurer if necessary.
