A caring and engaged society
Facet Ridderkerk is the welfare foundation in the municipality of Ridderkerk. The organisation provides services and activities for all residents of Ridderkerk, especially those target groups that could use a helping hand. The consultants of the Volunteer Support Centre (het Vrijwilligerssteunpunt) are ready to advise volunteers or companies and discuss possibilities.
Volunteer job board
Many volunteers are active in the municipality. Facet Ridderkerk makes the connection between volunteers and organisations, and vice versa. To facilitate this process, 2makeITwork has developed a job board for volunteer work. The job board brings supply and demand together: organisations can create vacancies and volunteers can apply for a position through the portal.
The matchmaker of Ridderkerk
In the job board, you can filter by education level, sector, target audience and interest. This allows a volunteer (or organisation) to search purposefully for a position that suits them.
The system also helps with this. When a volunteer applies, he creates a profile with his interests and education. The system compares vacancies with the volunteer’s profile, and shows the best matches to both volunteers and organisations.
Additional modules to save time
In addition, the job board contains a logbook function, a survey module and a reporting module. These modules were developed because Facet Ridderkerk staff spent a lot of time creating reports for the municipality, for example, or a survey for an organisation. Efficiency at its best!
Hosting
The job board is hosted on our own servers which allows us to ensure maximum security and speed.
Custom software
A web portal including admin environment, actively used by volunteers, organisations and by Facet Ridderkerk itself.
Management and support
The web portal will be further developed and expanded with new features as required.
The digital job board easily brings together supply and demand in volunteering. Criteria such as interest, sector preference, type of work and education easily ensure a great match!
